Strange Shopkeeper

Enter

You sense that you’ve found a somewhat remote area of the dungeon.

Here, a peculiar shopkeeper resides, surrounded by an assortment of curious and eerie artifacts.

The shop is carved directly into the cavern walls, with shelves laden with ancient tomes, mysterious potions, and artifacts glowing with an uncanny light.

A gaunt figure peers out from beneath a hooded cloak, his eyes gleaming with a mix of cunning and madness. Cobwebs stretch across the ceiling, and a single, flickering candle casts long, dancing shadows that play across the craggy stone walls, enhancing the chilling atmosphere of this subterranean emporium.

He taps at a nearby sign depicting a single red splotch.

Encounter

The shopkeeper offers you a deal:

For the low, low price of 1HP, they’ll show you an item (Roll on the Items table to see what it is). You can purchase it for twice what you paid to see it.

You can do this as many times as you like, but the initial price goes up by 1 each time. (eg, the next showing will cost 2, and the item 4).

For patrons of the Galanis Syndicate, the first one is free.

Resolve

If you bought items, now you have them! Don’t forget, you can’t exceed your Inventory slots.

Rest

If you choose to rest here, roll the adversary die. If it’s 10 or below, you wake up having lost 20% of your HP. Otherwise, you find a Clue

Clue

This place has a master, and not the type you might expect. You get the sense the shopkeeper admires them.
