Battle Roll

Roll the hero die and the adversary die together. The higher one, after modifiers, wins the round.

The difference between the dice (including modifiers) is the “result” – which is usually used for a subsequent effect, eg. damage to the loser.

Example:

A hero is battling an enemy.

  1. Roll both dice:
    • Hero: 16
    • Adversary: 10
  2. Hero is higher, so it wins this round
  3. Subtracting them from each other (16-10), the result is 6
  4. The enemy takes 6 damage
