Triggering the mimic:
- Roll the adversary die. Take that much damage.
- It’s now a
5HPcreature, and you’re in battle!
Resolve
Fighting the Mimic dulls your weapon, if it was sharpened. If you defeated the mimic, gain a Clue + roll for a free item from the Items table.
In it’s death throes…
The mimic coughs up an item and a hastily scrawled note, seemingly written in blood – “It cannot be tamed – it spaketh my name!”
