A thick fog has enveloped this part of the dungeon. The air is dank and damp, and the floor slippery with algae and the remnants of a stream.

Steadying yourself, you try to follow the dimly lit hall, only to realize in horror you did not touch a wall, but skin with scales the size of your head.

As the hydra stirs, you have a moment to hide. You can attempt Sneaking, with a Cursed Roll.

The Hydra has 13HP.

  • Reptilian Regen: For every round it doesn’t take damage, it heals 50% of what was lost. Applying silver dust to your weapon negates this effect.

Hydras are immune to Poison, and the wet environment negates Burning completely.

Resolve

If the hydra is dead…

Vial of Hydra’s Blood: A potion that heals you to full health, but also causes poisoning. If you used Silver Dust, it’s just Poison.

You noticed that every time a specific head grew back, one of it’s eyes was deeply scarred by claw marks. It had been in a visceral battle with a beast of roughly the same size… did it win? Or barely escape?
